Paul is my sister's husband and he is only 41 years old. Today, 6/24/09 Paul is having surgery for an aortic valve replacement AND aneurysm repair. To my understanding, he was born with a defective valve in his heart that needs to be replaced, however, the doctors discovered there is also an aortic aneurysm that needs repair as well.
This is a very serious surgery that is expected to take 7+ hours, and of course the recovery will be slow.

Paul's prayers are with us as well. You should try http://HolyLandPrayer.com. We submitted a prayer to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher for our mom that was very sick.
